Myself and Brenda have worked together for a year now and I consider her a good work friend. We don’t spend time together outside of work but at work, we usually have a good chat and there’s always plenty of laughter.
Brenda has never been shy when it comes to discussing sex and most of the time it’s fine , it’s just general talk but recently she has become more and more graphic and it’s reached the point where she’s started to share personal information about her and her husband which I’m not okay with and I’ve told her this more than once.
A couple of days ago she told me that she pegged her husband the night before and she was angry because they ended up with shit on the bed. I told her shit comes with the territory and that I really didn’t want to hear what she and her husband did in their own time. Brenda accused me of kink shaming her and said I being a bully.
I decided to nip that in the bud and went straight to our manager and told them what happened before Brenda had a chance. They said they would speak to her.
I don’t feel like I did anything wrong. I set a boundary by asking her not to tell me about her sex life but she continued to do it anyway.
