Hamas has launched over 10,000 rockets at Israel in November alone. If Israel is getting bombed, they should be able to defend themselves.
Sure, but committing genocide isn’t defending themselves. It’s genocide.
Technically speaking the casualty rate in Gaza is about 1%…so not only is it not a genocide, it’s not even a decimation speaking in demographic terms.
It’s abhorrent the loss of life and civillains should obviously be protected, but to compare it to the genocide most often compared to the Holocaust, the Jewish population STILL has not recovered in terms of numbers and it’s been 80 years. The Palestinian population with the highest birth rates in the world, will recover in a couple of years if not sooner.
This is a terrible loss of life but it’s not a genocide.
