Water scarcity, accentuated by climate change, is being felt in the fields of one of the wettest countries in Europe

I live in Denmark. We got a drought warning from our water supply company about three weeks ago I think it was. Since then there has been rain in varying amounts pretty much every single day.

Can confirm, same experience. Not denying there is an issue, just saying that it’s been raining recently.

Though a serious drought is not reversed by a few rainy days. It takes months of rain to get the water levels back up.

2018 was a serious drought, this was not, as is pretty much stated in the article as well. Also, I think your definition of “a few” is very different than mine.

That being said, I am in no way a climate change denier. I’m fully aware that the planet is going to shit. I just thought the timing was pretty funny.

Yeah agree. Climate change is felt here as well (more extreme drought, rainfall, storms, etc.) causing all kinds of problems. Regarding this current situation; it has been raining on/off for about a week or two now and lawns are starting to grow green yet again 🍀
