This news pleases me. After an entire childhood of mostly dogshit X-Men games, finally maybe we’ll see them treated with the appropriate respect.
Wolverine Origins the game was pretty fun. Much more so than the movie of the same name honestly.
X-men Legends basically carrying the whole franchise.
Insomniac has really set up an impressive iteration of the Marvel universe in these games. I’m a big fan of character designs and storylines. I would love to see them expand it to bring in other characters.
Wolverine seems like it would make for fun combat.
As a non gamer, I read insomniac as a person with insomnia and thought games journalists were supporting some guy’s sylvio Pepe theory for a moment
I really wish these games weren’t PS exclusive.
I’m guessing we’ll get Spider-Man 2 on PC in a couple years. If it’s anything like the ports of the first ones then it’ll be worth the wait. Probably Wolverine too after a similar wait.
Yeah earlier this year I was stuck between getting a PS5 or a Series X as they were both finally starting to have available stock, but decided to take the plunge and go PC instead.
The way I see it, Xbox exclusives are almost always on PC, and Sony exclusives usually release on PC now after a few years, and I’m in no rush to play them. To be honest I’m really waiting for the Ghost of Tsushima PC release, as that was one of my favorite PS4 games, but generally I don’t get crazy hyped for most other Sony exclusives
They release on PC just a few years later with all the dlc out, most of the issues fixed, and typically on sale, PC gets the best deal as always
Not to mention the thousands of indie titles available for PCs.
