Translation:
In Dnipro, a soldier who was simply tired from the front line was detained by the police
They sent him for a check on the dragger, but he turned out to be sober.
After that, the soldier offered the cop a summons and to go with him to the front line.
🇺🇦Real War
I know that it is inconvenient and also I don’t know why they had to detain him, but testing a driver for alcohol should never be something bad or maddening. If he is so tired that he can cause an accident and drives as if he were drunk, he should not be driving. And the police have every right to test him.
(But that doesn’t mean they need to be assholes about it and detain him or any similar crap.)
Police have to detain someone to breathalyze them. Detainment simply means that the individual is legally required to stay there, that’s it. If you get pulled over, you’re implictly being detained.
If somebody is very tired they’re physically and mentally impaired in a manner similar to being drunk.
This is why you’re told to pull over and sleep of you feel significantly tired behind the wheel. It will kill just as easily as being a little too drunk will. Drive safe, protect others around you, be rested.
I don’t speak Ukrainian, but I can read body language and someone has some egg on their face.
