I’ve tried using the link option when posting comments and the links never come out right. If i try making the display text different than the link, it seems to be unusable Ex:

If I make the display text the same as the link, then it is clickable, but not highlighted and underlined Ex:

    Boost adds an exclamation mark to the start of links. That’s only if you’re linking to an image. If it’s to a webpage you remove the !

    This is default. Doesn’t work because Lemmy thinks this should be an image.

    Edit: you also need the ‘https://’ bit too apparently

    Saw another comment that it might be the “!” that the link option placed before the text in brackets. So trying that here
