Its not a steamdeck 2 but based on the changes it seems like a 1.5. Alone going from a 40Whr battery; 2-8 hours of gameplay (content-dependent) to a 50Whr battery; 3-12 hours of gameplay (content-dependent) should be pretty nice.
Mind you I cant really afford it and I dont really have an excuse to buy one except for the desire to obtain a shiny toy. I didnt buy the release version …so I probably wont buy this one either. Nice that it exists though.

best thing about 1.5 versions of things like this is usually the old version starts dropping in price
Yeah. Worth it to remember how pumped you would have been to get a model of the original just a few days ago. Nothing should have changed!!!
