First contact with Sade was when I was 14/15. My cousin talked about him and said, I should watch “Salo oder die 120 Tage von Sodom” (or the 120 days of Sodom), which was an indexed movie by that time. Afaik people puked while the one and only possibly public viewing occured at a movie festival. The movie is truly fucked up! Can’t recommend it anyone…
What sticks out to me is that every time his victims spoke out the police actually did something. So many times I read about shit that happened in just the last few years where cops don’t do shit. Sure, the guy was connected and got off because of that but apparently there was a time in the world where cops believed prostitutes and they felt comfortable enough with them to report abuse.
