      That’s the Church of Satan, who are LaVeyan Satanists. This is the Satanic Temple, a bunch of contrarians who fight against encroachment of Christianity into public life by demanding the same rights for Satanic imagery and messaging. These are the ones who put up Baphomet Statues next to nativity scenes and shit like that.

    If I’m reading the article correctly, the school tried to close down the club because they got too many threats of violence because of it. I can’t even imagine how the sheer mention of Satan is enough to drive someone towards violence.

    Holy crap there’s Soo many pop ups on this website. First the ads got preloaded left and right to squeeze the news article up. Having to cautiously tread my finger down the narrow path of article I thought it was over when the cramping stopped, but NO! I didn’t get to finish the first part of the news article without getting sucker punched in the face with an uncloseable subscription box. As I start propping myself up from the ground to stand I get axe kicked by a news letter email sign up before I exited the website.
