As we all know correlation equals causation, and you can always extrapolate from a trend seen in a single research project.
Throwaway any and all ideas you have from that scientific theory course you had to take in university.
I’d definitely like to see more research into topics such as this. Gut health definitely has an impact on the brain, but the headline is a big stretch and looking for clicks. Never trust media corps with science news.
Which headline? CNN’s or mine? Because my headline is definitely tongue in cheek
in cheek
Now is that one “pun intended”?
Not if there’s diarrhea involved… Actually not at all
I was referring to CNNs headline.
Your gut has more neurons than your brain.
I have Crohn’s disease and my partner thinks I have ADHD, so that basically confirms your theory. What more data could you want?
A shit load…
I’m sorry, I’ll see myself out
I have dietary track issues myself and only poop ~1-3 times per week. At my worst I went about 2 weeks between poos. I also have adhd. It is clear this research is 100% true.
I think your data point disproves the original claim, which was more pooping == ADHD. Given your data point disproves the claim, I say we ignore it. Science. :D
Oop, I read it wrong. 🤦♀️
That’s a valid data point, and we mustn’t discard it. It’s there to remind us how 10% of the time we’re stupidest mother fuckers to walk the earth.
You should eat more fiber, or figure something else out. That’s soon not healthy.
I can infer from this news that pooping rids your brain of stupid.
This could be the new tagline of some laxative brand.
You: pooping every three days because you are constipated.
Me: pooping every three days because I forgot to eat.
We are not the same.
