Great news.
I had no idea salmon spawned in bay area creeks. I figured they’d been too polluted for decades or blocked off with drainage ditches.
“I think it’s been the best kept secret,” said Steve Holmes, executive director of the South Bay Clean Creeks Coalition.
No kidding! I’m a San Jose native and I had no freaking clue that we had salmon. That’s awesome.
