One can only assume that Sony cast Madame Web so young because they know they’re not going to get around to having her actually interact with Spider-Man for another decade or two.
She’s a terrible actress though. I do not understand this casting at all
The only thing I’ve liked her in was the Suspiria remake. It was surprisingly pretty good.
