My favorite thing about ROTS is how it just skips over the Clone Wars entirely and just starts with the final stages of the war. Between AOTC and ROTS there were only a handful of animated shorts by Genndy Tartakovsky aired on Cartoon Network to fill in the gaps. Anakin has a scar? General Grievous? Who cares! Let’s dive in with pew pew fights, proto-Marvel banter, and killing Count Dooku in the first ten minutes!

I have some respect for someone who consistently has takes that are bad but also highly original. I wonder what Paglia thought about ending of the LOTR movies.
