Offensive wars certainly don’t go over well, now more than ever in the internet age. Israel had a point where what they were doing was understandable but they exceeded that point on day one.

The turn coat nature of the US response to gaza shows that US politicians cannot be trusted when they say they believe in or support human rights.

Its crushing to see that saving ukraine from invasion was only for quick political gain, and that a nation who will not shut the fuck up about moral superiority lacks the spine or nuts to save lives when its even passingly inconvenient.

good showcase that you shouldnt blindly base policy on israel being the holy land that just needs all the heavy weapons to level the entire strip and everyone in it, no thinking or strings attached needed

and then later ask for more when the militias happened to become even more popular for some reason?

Policy wasnt based on any holy land, policy was based on israel being a very convenient regional ally for military use.

Its only recently that idiots who buy the religion excuse weaseled into office.

It’s about oil. By rupturing the ties between Russia and the EU, America becomes the #1 natural gas supplier to Europe. By putting Gaza in the hands of a loyal American ally, American gas an oil companies gain access to the vast reserves off the coast.

Most of America’s wars after the Cold war were about gaining access and control of oil rich nations.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Days of intense negotiations enabled the Biden administration to avoid casting a veto at the United Nations Security Council in defense of Israel’s military campaign in Gaza.

That isolation is a dramatic turnaround in international perceptions for the Biden administration: For most of the past two years, top U.S. officials led what they saw as a valiant crusade to rally the world against Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Mr. Biden and Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken were praised at home and abroad for uniting allies under the banner of American leadership as they invoked basic principles of international law and human rights.

Human rights groups — which for months applauded U.S. efforts to hold Russia accountable — now denounce the United States for supporting Israel, which many of them accuse of committing war crimes in Gaza.

Senior Biden officials who found a clear sense of purpose in the project of uniting Europe against Russia privately admit that the past weeks have been difficult as the U.S. supplies and defends an Israeli campaign that has led to so much suffering and global outrage.

Asked about American isolation on Wednesday, Mr. Blinken betrayed no concern, saying that the United States continues to “rally countries around the world” to support Ukraine, has cultivated partnerships to strengthen the U.S. position against China, and is leading global efforts on food insecurity, artificial intelligence and clean energy.

I’m pretty surprised that France isn’t blindly supporting israel anymore . They have always been pretty big on oppressing Arabs.

As for America, I never expected them to commit to such obvious genocide without even trying to hide it. But I am also surprised at the amount of Democrat voters jumping in front of Genocide Joe to take the bullet for him.

I guess that even this obvious mass genocide isn’t political suicide in America, just another day at the office and everyone sitting in congress doesn’t even pretend to care about their morals anymore. Now even the avarage American voter isn’t bothered by it.

So far for the epic secular morals we’ve been hearing about for a hundred years.
