Generally the 4 day workweek does not involve increasing daily hours, it relies on people working more happily and efficiently during a shorter workweek.

I currently work 4 tens, and it’s absolutely worth it. It’s not a true four day work week, but it’s a good start. I find that putting the third day off in the middle of the week, like Tuesday or Wednesday is the best. You get a designated day to run errands, go to the doctor, get a haircut, etc., and you never have to work too many days in a row.
