At the Global Developers Conference (GDC 2024), HTC Vive will cut its revenue share to just 10% for all new VR games and apps added to the Viveport app store starting April 1, 2024. That’s one-third the previous developer fees.
Any titles added on or after March 1, 2024 will also qualify for a fee reduction. That means developers of recent PC VR and Vive XR Elite standalone games and apps will get to keep 90% of sales revenue.
