I’ve driven that! It goes by Lockhart, the “home” of Hill Country/Central Texas BBQ; at one point it had 3 amazing places (Smitty’s, Kreutz’s, Black’s).
I remember climbing on, hitting 85, then watching the gas gauge slowly drop. As you watched it, you’d see it move.
Best $12 I’ve ever spent! Last time i was in Lockhart i stopped for a chopped beef sandwich - got smittys and blacks. I was expecting just chopped brisket. That pulverized meat mashed with sauce texture is not for me.

I had a Hyundai that did that exact same thing. You could literally see it dropping as you were driving.
