Latest models printed turned out well!
That’s really good, I don’t see many supports residuals at all!
Thanks! I have been practicing supporting for a bit now and like to think I have gotten half decent.
Man i’d kill for a reliable/affordable resine printer !
Anycubic mono 4k is a fantastic deal, $169.00 right now, it’s basically the cost of a combat patrol.
And the anycubic ultra DLP is great as well at sub $300.
I have had great success with both the mono 4k and the D2 (updated ultra). My D2 has been running non-stop for about 3 months now with only a few misprints, all user error.
If you have any questions about either I would be more than happy to answer them to the best of my ability.
This is really nice of you ! Thanks for the info !
I mean I spent about 500$ CAD for the washer/curing station and the printer. I feel like it was a steal considering how much I have saved on model costs.
Well i never bought a single model because it’s too costy to begin with 🙃 500Cad is indeed a good deal ! But i’ve heard that calibrating process and troubleshooting are much more tedious than on a fdm and quite costly and the resin itself is a bit pricy too :/
Resin printing is basically plug and play at this point.
Glad to hear that ! Sorry to bother with question, but is it noisy ? My fdm is so fucking loud, is it the same for resin ? Thank you for your intel !
No my resin printer is a lot quieter than my FDM one.
Great ! Thanks !
Can’t comment on the noise, but with resin printers I know the biggest problem is the gasses they emit. You need to print in like a garage with the fan on, its not recommended to print inside a small area with low air circulation.
Didn’t know about that good to know !
