Ozempic maker Novo Nordisk facing pressure as study finds $1,000 appetite suppressant can be made for just $5
I wonder how hard counterfeiting drugs is…
Good question! Pretty sure its doable. Have you seen breaking bad?
It’s not counterfeiting if there’s no copyright. Start a new pharmaceutical enterprise?
Well, there are patents
I cannot back it with any study but I bet this goes for many medical products that could either be made much cheaper or sold cheaper or both. I’m happy to live in Germany where I pay my medical insurance and they cover the costs for my medicine but I’m thinking about countries like America or others where there I no such coverage of costs because the health care system is lousy. Things like medicine, living, electricity, even mobility like in public transport should be affordable for everyone and if you have to make it free, then countries should do it. Money is right there with the big companies, no need to get it from badly paid workers that keep the entire show running anyway.
I bet you’re right. The people who have effectively lost half of their income if you factor inflation in are expected to also pay for getting to work, from work, get better if they are sick and I bet even for work clothing.
Isn’t there already a class action for this killing people?
You don’t want this drug lol, otherwise it’s all over the DW
