Why do I feel like repubs only want to block this so their Russian friends can spy stateside? I never thought I’d be arguing in favor of FISA, but the right has never had the peoples’ best interests at heart.

Most of the FISA bill is for international wire taps, I wonder what the Republicans have to hide? We can always trust the Republicans will do something self-serving.

Not that I agree with the bill or spying on domestic citizens, the majority of what this bill was designed to do is look at international communication.

Honestly, in this day and age, who really uses a phone for international business anyway? I suppose if you have shady business dealings you are going to use some app that’s fully encrypted.
