    Wait, it doesn’t? I guess I didn’t pay enough attention because I thought it was a $20 minimum wage for everything.

      It’s only fast food restaurants that are national chains with more than 60 locations. Locations in Airports, convention centers and hospitals are exempt.

      However the state minimum wage is $15/hr

        Of all the exemptions, locations in airports? Where they charge you $30 for a meal just because? Unreal…

          There were more on the list

          Restaurants connected to or operating in conjunction with the following locations are also not covered by the law:

          An airport;

          A hotel;

          An event center that is over 20,000 square feet or has more than 1,000 seats (for example, a sports stadium concert hall, or racetrack);

          A theme park;

          A museum; or A gambling establishment (for example, a card room)

          Well you see, the reason you’re paying $7 for coffee is because each cup had to go through security theater and ensure it’s not bomb water or something.
