Given the overpopulation problem. Given the various solutions to that. Given the solution of “take away their ability to make babies”. What are the advantages of that solution, compared to the other solutions.
Involuntary sterilization has been on the books all throughout human history, dating back to the ancient Greeks. You listed all the supposed optimistic points of it, but wherever it has existed, it only ends up reflecting weakness in a society’s ability to accommodate.
