I went to French pastry school and made this delicious shortbread with fig jam on top and a lemon thyme infused chantilly that was so fresh and delicious.

I was once a chef and love to make food but have always been terrible at baking and pâtisse. This looks like it could be a good jumping off point to get excited about learning again!

Thanks for the kind words! I found it fairly fine when you cut it into little bars since you can get a little bit of everything in each section :)
