Since the Bible considers spilling semen to be a death penalty offense, I find the analogy is quite apt.
I can’t remember if it was Leviticus or Genesis where god specified “abortion is a fertilized fetus”.
And abortion isn’t frowned upon at all. The Bible actually tells you how to perform one.
They’re not the same thing.

Every sperm is sacred. Every sperm is great. If a sperm is wasted, god gets quite irate!
Hindu, Taoist, Mormon, spill theirs just anywhere; but god loves those who treat their semen with more care!
So let the heathens spill theirs on the dusty ground; god will make them pay for each sperm that can’t be found!
It’s only genocide if you can figure out a way to kill half of a person.
