Installed a month ago and only worked one day. Good job DOT.

Its fine, it probably doesn’t need peak efficiency (the LED display only flashes for a few second per vehicle) & it’s not dark under the tree in daylight, it’s not like it’s feeding the grid.

Perhaps it’s not the same crew that does both jobs, it may still get activated.

It was activated for a day or so then it was glitching where it would flash for a brief microsecond showing your speed then flashed in and out like it wasn’t getting enough power then nothing since. Which means it is not getting enough sun to power on after it’s initial charge it came with when installed.

On the bright side at least the city didn’t have a tree destroyed so they could charge a sign. I could see that happening without anyone save the home owner batting an eye.

Some jackass Republican: “We don’t need to spend a million dollars on survey and inspection. We can just pick sites systematically in this Dems led initiative to create safer neighborhoods where kids have been killed.” Voting fucktard has consequences.
