It’ll be nice to know you’re not going to also get charged with a crime in addition to getting shot to death by a cop that sees any person fleeing them as a criminal.
My parents are friends with a cop, and he comes to functions and stuff they go to, and I greatly enjoy loudly asking him all about the stories he tells. And he hates when he sees me, because I don’t ask the “nice” questions like “what’s the crimiest crime you’ve seen crimed” but “oh that guy you mentioned tackling and breaking his leg, did the punishment for his crime include maiming and lifelong searing pain? Or did you just decide he deserved it as judge and jury before you were even sure it was 100% the right guy who shoplifted”
Always ask the questions they won’t like to answer. Always ask the hard questions that back them into a corner. Never let a deflection save face. Redirect that bitch to what they’re avoiding.
If the crime doesn’t warrant the death penalty, your gun shouldn’t have been taken off safety, and unless you know they were armed, it shouldn’t even be out.
While absolutely the right call, I’m sure my family will be relieved when the evading arrest charges are dropped. They’ll have enough going on planning my funeral.
While this is a great outcome for citizens, I’m worried it will incentivize killing the suspect.
It’s not like they needed extra incentive, US cops basically do that by default already.
Haha, OK. Let’s see how well that works out.
