Great work by residents. But next time they need to have a more organized force to keep the city at bay, bring in the media, call their reps in the city council, etc.

You can’t beat the government in force but you can embarrass them until they give up.

    speed bumps

    Why speed bumps? That’s obnoxious for people who are following the speed limit. Just ask the city to put in a traffic camera to look for speeders. That doesn’t impact people who are driving legally.

      Speeding is so common in California. The speed limit is typically the minimum speed of traffic.

      Automated fining would be an unpopular solution.
