“Our government will not stop efforts to put an end (formally) to war on the Korean Peninsula and achieve complete denuclearisation and permanent peace together with the international community, including China,” Moon was quoted as telling Wang during their meeting.
Why do they always put so much emphasis on denuclearisation instead of addressing actual threats like US bases in S. Korea and Japan?
Regardless what they say, they only way DPRK will denuclearize is if the US military leaves South Korea. So we can only hope that the talks will be successful.
They shouldn’t denuclearise IMO anyway but let’s see how this goes.
Yep, if it should be done, it should be done when the US itself denuclearizes.
