With you to the end. 🖤 Witness the epic conclusion in #Venom: The Last Dance exclusively in theatres October 25.
Something about the phrase “exclusively in theaters on [date]” always makes me laugh.
Why would they spend this much money on marketing if they were exclusively putting it in theaters for 1 day? Wouldn’t it be better to at least get the weekend or longer?
What if I’m busy that day?
I think that’s just the start date, not the only date.
On a practical and serious level, I know that…
But it gets me every time because the wording sounds so final! It doesn’t actually impact any of my movie plans but it does make me chuckle when I see it.
Pretty sure this is not accidental. They want to imply that urgency. I consciously know this as well and I still get the same reaction you did.
I just solved this by adding it to overseerr 🤣 … so thanks marketing to remind me. In all seriousness though I do have a bunch of free passes from when my boy worked in a theater so I still might see it on the big screen.
I liked the first one, but not really the second one.
I dunno. Maybe I need to give it another chance as others seem to enjoy it more than the first.
