Zapped! is a lighthearted 80s teen comedy about high school science whiz Barney Springboro, played by Scott Baio, who accidentally gains telekinetic powers after a lab experiment goes wrong. With his newfound abilities to move objects with his mind, Barney starts to have fun using his powers to pull pranks and get back at those who have wronged him at school. Along with his mischievous best friend Peyton, Barney’s powers lead to plenty of chaotic and humorous situations. As the pranks escalate, Barney must learn how to control his powers before they get completely out of hand. The movie is filled with quirky 80s humor and sci-fi antics, making it a nostalgic trip back to classic teen comedies of the era.
