Of interest to me is the fact that both Google and Facebook, which are structured around a large monorepo, dropped git in favour of mercurial (of which sapling is a fork in the instance of facebook).
Businesses operating large repos should really consider giving mercurial a renewed look IMO.
Although I despise their software, I do enjoy their engineering blogs, thanks for sharing.
By “software” do you mean their products or their actual (open-sourced?) software?
