Will this make my Subsy37 worth more? I jest of course. I hope this isn’t the beginning of the end for Moog.

And yes, it’s pronounced MOOG.

Well I’d be lying if I said this didn’t worry me about the future of Moog.

I wouldn’t say any of the InMusic brands have fared particularly well post acquisition

Akai is it really. Apparently you can’t stand in the way of Capitalism.

Can’t remember who bought Sequential, are they any better?

That was Focusrite (who also own Novation). I think the jury is still out on that one, wasn’t it only a year or so ago?

I did think about akai, but honestly even that is starting to feel a bit past it’s heyday

Yeah it was recent. Novation have been killing it though so fingers crossed for Sequential.

Akai do seem a bit stale but MPCs get a lot of love.

I’ve been impressed to see the amount of development they’ve put into the Force. I bought one and returned it way back in 2019 when I realised it didn’t do disk streaming, but I see they’ve added that and a lot more since. They definitely seem committed to expanding its functionality at least.
