US District Judge Aileen Cannon issued her first order since former President Donald Trump pleaded not guilty to charges brought by special counsel Jack Smith for allegedly mishandling classified information, instructing the parties to get the ball rolling to obtain security clearances for the lawyers who will need them.

Movement is good. She’s a moron and a Trump appointee. I was hoping she would recuse herself.
I’m really hoping the relentless public scrutiny will keep her from behaving like the Trump sycophant she is, but somehow I doubt it.
If she remains the judge and Trump is found not guilty, no one (non-Republican) is going to have faith in the verdict because she’s a Trump supporter. She’s not impartial.
