Threads uses your Instagram account. I they aren’t two seperate things, it’s a single account.
Now we need another new term to describe this latest stupidly ugly dynamic, when corporations don’t simply enshittify their social media sites but then actually retaliate against users who try to defy them.
That all surprisingly sounds reasonable.
