We should write that down.
We should write that down.
I was banned from c/politics by that same mod because of bullshit reasons too. They’re a petty tyrant who can’t handle anything that might disrupt their echo chamber.
Outside of the missing flesh, that looks and sounds like Bezos in space. Elon is too scared to fly one of his rockets so he isn’t a real rocket man.
I dunno, doesn’t sound right. Let’s get some more American rockets launched into Russia just to be sure.
Procreation only makes children - society needs culture and order to continue through the generations. Having people who have no idea about their history or traditions is useless, they might as well be cattle.
Outside influences like rival countries or self financed teams paid for by billionaires to influence society is the problem. Forcing others to be parents won’t solve the problem. We need people who want to raise children so abuse and broken people aren’t a constant output. To make people want children, they need a future in which they feel they can raise a person. The current anti-worker, anti-business geo-economic plan for the next 4 years doesn’t give the kind of future folks want to have children.
I want to live in a world where profoundly evil people receive karma instead of golden parachutes. The third option here is that CEOs be paid less and be held accountable by their employees similarly to a democracy. But that means changing the system - which won’t happen until the CEOs are convinced the system doesn’t work. Right now, we regular folks are the only ones for whom the system doesn’t work. This uncertain future for CEOs is load sharing.
Yes, we can’t afford to lose any CEOs because it might cause innocent people to be killed. Meanwhile those CEOs are stacking bodies through negligence and folks like you want to defend them. You just confirmed how you’d steer the trolley.
He got an A in history, so he knows what factors lead to the rise of Napoleon. It’s tyrannicide of the bourgeoisie dude!
And tyrannicide is always a good thing!
A United Healthcare retirement.
That’s fantastic. I can’t play a tuba but I can scat on a megaphone.
Look, I just want to see the two styles fight. Balance issues and the context of why one style will be more effective are beyond any immediate concern. Let’s see some fucking moves.
My family has fully adopted the Buster Bluth, “Hey brother”, “hey sister”, “hey cousin”.
This is the same problem as the videogame industry - a handful of the biggest players are pumping too much money into each movie to be profitable. They are counting on a blockbuster franchise to expand on with a string out series of sequels that never achieve the same level of success as the first one.
The only difference between movies and videogames is indie game devs are able to show the market is still there but no one wants the product of big hype. Movies don’t have that. There was a time when a streaming service would buy some indie movie but now each one is making their own movies and the potential for new, original ideas is stagnating.
Now you know why econ forecasting as an industry has such a high rate of liver failure. No one can stay sober when both options result in a complete unwinding of society. There are no good ways forward. There’s, likely, no way forward.
It rolls off the tongue.
Skelemeter…
“Unalive” is the current dance. Euphemism isn’t new.
