I’d have to say shells, particularly the “shells & cheese” size. I always have quite a few shells stick together and end up undercooked, and I don’t really encounter that challenge with other shapes.
I actually like orzo a lot, but I’ve always had it in dishes where it behaves like (and is possibly mixed with) rice. I think it adds a nice (creamy?) balance to some other carby things, such as a veggies. Trader Joe’s sells one that really like that has orzo mixed with spinach, sundried tomatoes, and feta(?) cheese.
An Amazon spokesperson told HuffPost on Friday that the denial was due to an error in Scott-Windham’s time off request and said she has the company’s “full support.”
What sort of reasonable “error” could possibly deny something like this?
Apparently the Thunder app doesn’t automatically condense whitespace.
While I’m definitely in the “single space” camp myself, and have previously been pretty annoyed by people who still use two spaces, I actually like how often I see the double spaces on Lemmy because it reminds me that there are quite a few people over 25 on here. I’m not quite 40, and I don’t think I was ever taught anything other than single space, but I have friends that still do two spaces.
Based on a survey of 34 countries conducted between Oct. 25-Nov. 8, 2024
I wonder how many people’s outlook on 2025 changed around November 6th, and therefore how different this would look today?
Take it one step further though. The fine shouldn’t be calculated per customer, but per piece of data. So name, phone number, and address would be 3 pieces, and every GPS data point is another piece.
If the product you’re ordering is eligible for free returns, I would place a second order, then return the second one once it arrives.
Moto g play 2024. It’s not a great phone otherwise, but it was $40 brand new.
Thank you, I mostly just wanted to quickly point out the weaknesses of asking such a question here and only here, but I really appreciate your reply. I was not in a position to elaborate at the moment, so I really do appreciate someone else elaborting & providing additional perspectives, and while we may not necessarily see eye to eye, I think you’ve pointed out some differences (in a relatively neutral way) that are important for users to be aware of when they navigate the various instances.
While I’m posting from .world, this was never intended as my “primary” account. My “primary” account was on kbin, and now that I’ve accepted that kbin isn’t coming back, I’ve been wanting to move somewhere else for my main account, but life + ADHD + too many choices has been getting in the way of that, and many other things I need to do. I hate signing up for things, so I’m hoping my next instance will be a good fit for me for a good while.
ELI5 please? I’ve read the other replies, but would love to understand a bit more.
None of these have Jan 1 as the start date, but…
You might consider crossposting this to similar communities on other instances. .ml has quite the reputation for censorship, so that’s definitely going to shape the responses you get here.
I’m getting laid off, so using up my “use it or lose it” PTO. Most of my current coworkers take time off, so it’s usually pretty quiet at work anyway.
Thanks! In terms of fostering, my primary concern is cat to cat, although I probably should worry about cat to human also. My resident cats are otherwise healthy and I keep them up to date on their vaccinations, but at least so far, it doesn’t sound like that’s good enough.
The researchers next housed uninfected ferrets in cages next to infected ones to test whether the virus could spread through the air via respiratory droplets. They performed four separate experiments using ferrets infected with varying doses of the virus. Between 1 in 6 and 1 in 3 infected ferrets transmitted the virus to uninfected neighbors. Five of the six ferrets who became infected in this way died.
In my case, they would effectively be housed in separate cages (rooms of my home) for an initial quarantine period, but I would be going back and forth between those rooms without changing my clothes.
I don’t clear the timer because my +30 sec button will only work to start the microwave if there’s time left on the timer. If there’s no time left on the timer, the +30 button is useless until I punch something in.
This is likely airborne, huh? Any idea what the incubation period is for cats? I’m seeing mixed information, but read that symptoms seem to progress very quickly. My cats are indoor only, but we usually have some fosters around, and I’m worried that we may need to put that on pause.
Wow! That is so awesome and I’m super jealous! I discovered a park semi-close to me last spring that has a bit of a Mallard population, and apparently seasonal Gadwalls. As you might imagine, they’re not super interested in most humans, but still super fun to watch.
What got you into that? How long have you been doing it? What kind of ducks?
Any plans for an iOS app? While I prefer Android, most of the people that I would want to use this with are iPhone users.
