Imho, reposts have a positive impact. Usually, a frequently reposted content means that it is something important or entertaining for the mainstream crowd. Sometimes I would go offline for a day or two, and when I came back, the reposts were the ones who brought me up to speed on what’s trending.

I like the meta idea. While Reddit continues to exist and maintain its presence, some individuals have deliberately chosen to disengage from the platform. Lemmy is great and offers a similar experience but can sometimes be overwhelming due to its own challenges. Perhaps this community can also serve as a supportive space to help bring clarity and coherence to the Lemmy platform.
