Everyone is allowed to show negative emotions but they sure as hell aren’t allowed to throw shit and intimidate people. The other guy is clearly uncomfortable.

I can’t compare it to pigallery, but imo it really isn’t fully usable. Lots of bugs for me. I’m still running it but waiting for it to be ready to replace Google photos. It has transcoding errors in the logs and file tracking issues (extra files). All of my recent motion photos are not detected. And I have read on GitHub that they are still working on fleshing out automated repair tasks.
I’ve seen bodge wires but this dead bug looks like about 80 connections. Techs don’t ever have to do that do they?
Are you being sarcastic or serious? hard to tell!
It would be cool if they offered a local client to do the AI processing but it’s not hard to see a few problems with that. It would be pretty difficult to sustain.
Is there some distinction between “forced labor” and “slavery”? Honest question.
Eternity is great! free, no ads, and no lag while scrolling. it also supports swipe to go back from posts.
Are you posting from Argentina?
No?
As of December 22 Israel struck Gaza 22,000 times since Oct 7th and yet the civilian death toll during that time was 20,000. Do you honestly believe Israel was trying to kill civilians looking at the numbers? It defies all logic.
Wow that’s about one civilian murder per bomb!
If they were “willfully targeting civilians” as you claim the number of dead would be in the hundreds of thousands. The reality is Israel warned people to leave areas it was targeting. It actively avoids civlians, hence the low death toll.
The low low death toll of about 3.7%! So far. I don’t really see the argument.
You say medical infrastructure while ignoring the Hamas base inside. Like it or not hospitals become valid targets. They’re not a safe space for Hamas to kill from.
Attacking a hospital is not necessarily a war crime by Geneva Conventions, but there are strict requirements even if this is true. What Israel is doing is considered a war crime under the Geneva Conventions.
As stated by Palestinians on the ground Hamas steals it but somehow Israel is to blame for that as well?
Israel is the entity responsible for blocking supplies from entering Gaza, so yes.
I don’t really see how this survey justifies the war crimes Israel is committing. It was asking people if they thought the attack was justified now that Israel had been murdering and starving them for about two months (ignoring the very long history of more of the same!). And other surveys don’t exactly line up with what you view as support.
https://news.stanford.edu/report/2023/12/05/palestinians-views-oct-7/
About 23% of respondents said they have a great deal or quite a lot of trust in Hamas; 52% had no trust at all in Hamas.
Your second point is terrible. The bombing of Dresden is also a war crime. And what makes this situation genocide is the willful military targeting of civilians, the mass starvation imposed by Israel, and destruction of all civilian medical personnel and infrastructure among many other things.
No doubt the attack on Oct 7 was horrible. But please tell us how you justify the ongoing genocide and human right violations that Israel is committing. Saying that the vast majority of innocent civilians supported it is such bullshit.
I thought fracking was extremely harmful to the environment. Whatever other sources there are might be ok though?
As someone that’s never used any of those services, what’s the difference between this and bypass paywalls clean?
Well here’s the definition according to UN that basically the whole world agrees on:
Definition - Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide - Article II
In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:
- Killing members of the group;
- Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
- Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
- Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;
- Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.
One scholar is noted as saying this:
Raz Segal, the program director of genocide studies at Stockton University, concretely says it is a “textbook case of genocide.” Segal believes that Israeli forces are completing three genocidal acts, including, “killing, causing serious bodily harm, and measures calculated to bring about the destruction of the group.” He points to the mass levels of destruction and total siege of basic necessities—like water, food, fuel, and medical supplies—as evidence.
As always there are some who disagree. But I do not misunderstand the meaning of the word.
Also it’s hilarious that you say “Denying a hostile belligerent nation land”. That’s so incredibly fucked up. They are illegal settlers who are murdering the current residents in order to steal their land. What mental gymnastics it must take to call that “denying land”.
Yep I think Twitter has been blocking thread viewing for people without accounts lately. This link should work if you want to read. https://nitter.net/joemayall/status/1725285942104105158
Here’s a pretty good thread https://twitter.com/joemayall/status/1725285942104105158
Prove it is. lol.
The burden lies with Israel to justify the killing of innocent civilians.
Not sure what you mean by this. Are you sad you were wrong?
So what you’re saying is that innocent civilian deaths are deserved and you are in support of them? For example, if there was a school hostage situation in your hometown, law enforcement should bomb the whole place, children and all! After seeing all of the easily debunked lies IDF puts out, it’s hard to trust any single thing they say.
You can read about the billions here.
