Weird question, but why does my instance say you’re a bot? It’s right next to your username.
Continuous use of aluminum-based antiperspirant actually makes you sweat more overall, so OP probably made a good choice.
UNIX-like operating systems that utilize kernels other than Linux exist. FreeBSD, Plan9, etc. Not to mention that the Linux kernel isn’t developed by a single person or even a single organization. Mozilla’s governance structure is totally different.
No, I mean that this person is clearly not at work and free to go wherever to eat their pizza. I know eating in a car is uncomfortable so I’m just scratching my head at why the 4chan OP would want to eat a whole pizza in there.
Can you explain your opinion of the differences? A friend and I are interested in learning more about Discord alternatives that we can get our less tech-savvy friends to switch to.
You may want to consider in your made-up scenario the reason behind an entire neighbourhood refusing to give any information.
So you’re advocating for fewer civil rights (or at least for people not to exercise their civil rights) because it saves you time and money? Spoken like a true pig.
Speaking as someone who used to travel for work (different place every day, sometimes multiple), eating in your car is super depressing and uncomfortable. Why not go home and eat it?
Maybe if hospital administrators couldn’t unilaterally staff skeleton crews to save money we wouldn’t have this issue.
Nurses shouldn’t have to do all this work with no support - mandate staffing requirements with significant financial penalties for non-compliance and I can guarantee work hours will become sane.
Yeah, for some reason I find this hard to read. I think it might be the lack of contrast between the fonts? Could be fixable by adjusting the weight instead of totally changing the font, though. (I would change the handwritten-looking one just because I find it kind of ugly.)
The Canadian Future Party (CFP; French: Parti avenir canadien, PAC) is a minor federal political party in Canada that was officially launched in 2024. It describes itself as being politically centrist, campaigning on a fiscally conservative and socially liberal platform.
That made me audibly groan, along with this:
- Allowing the private sector to take a larger role in society with government oversight
- Simplifying the tax code to close loopholes in cooperation with the provinces and territories
- Ending corporate subsidies and supply management where a return on investment cannot be delivered
I’m happy to be proven wrong, but this seems like a recipe for laissez-faire capitalism that will eventually end in a collective shrug, a few golden parachutes, and a recession. Canada does not need more centrism.
So I’m supposed to believe that OP didn’t kill himself right after this happened? Guys, I think this story is fake.
The alarm was raised in 2021 after Polish slap fighter Artur Walczak suffered a brain bleed during a match in which he was knocked out and lost consciousness.
I remember watching MoistCr1TiKaL’s (AKA Charlie, penguinz0, etc.) video about slap fighting where this guy was a fucking beast. This should have gotten the league to reconsider the gear allowed to compete, but I guess no one wants to “be a pussy” when they could have a traumatic brain injury instead.
Can’t believe an Electrical and Electronics Engineer would do that. RIP in peace.
“Special goon cave” sounds like a vagina euphemism.
In terms of description, what should we call a toy that is a digital product? If I said to a friend, “I played a paper doll toy on my PC yesterday,” I would just get a ton of follow-up questions.
Or what about, “I work at a development studio that makes toys for release on Steam”? Confusing. Are games that force a retry (like Prince of Persia: Sands of Time) toys or interactive fiction because losing isn’t really an option? And does a definitive answer actually matter? Would it even be respected by an audience? Is doing the dishes a game?
I think there’s room for movement within genre and media, especially when it comes to something interactive.
They’re okay, but they mostly taste like Vanilla Coke with a faint whisper of artificial chocolate flavour (think Tootsie Rolls). I really don’t recommend it unless you want to try a novelty flavour for fun.
It looks so incredibly dumb to say you aren’t aware of the situation. At least say you’re aware but don’t have a comment yet pending further investigation…
