I think it’s probably down to preference. I personally really like Fedora server because it comes pre-installed with the Cockpit webui which replaces the role of Portainer and makes other admin tasks like firewall openings and user management trivial. Knowing exactly what packages I need to use my Intel card to render with Blender is very handy. If you use a distro like EndeavorOS, you don’t even have to do any special setup: it installs like any other distro.

They use the front face scanner that’s used for Face ID, right? I’m pretty sure those have been on all iPhones since the 10 from 2017, so it’s hardly a bleeding edge feature considering it’s 8 years old. Having an iPhone as a hard requirement definitely sucks though.

I understand why they have the requirement: They want a 3d model of your face that they know is good enough so that they can make the facial interface.

What I don’t understand is why do they not accept a 3d model you create yourself? Using photogrammetry and a friend, it would not be too difficult to get a good 3d model of your face. Heck, they could even do a service where you send the photos of your face directly to Bigscreen where they process it for an extra fee. Boom, now there is no iPhone requirement to buy the product.

Bruh. I’ve been using Fedora and EndeavorOS for the past few years and have not had to edit grub boot entries once. That really sounds like something that I would be doing if I was dual booting Windows lol.

Yeah, you can really tell with LTT that they make videos almost daily in the quality of their videos. I still find their content to be very useful to discover new things, but I don’t really trust them when it comes to good conclusions and accurate data. That is where Gamer’s Nexus really shines in my opinion, even though they cover different topics than LTT, being more review and investigation focused.
