I was visiting my mother today and she gave me this. It was my grandmothers embroidery hoop from either the late 50s or early 60s! As cool looking as it is it doesn’t seem super practical though. The shape is odd, and the only tension on it is from a little spring at the top lol

    Oh that’s cool. If you don’t end up enjoying actually stitching with it, you could maybe finish something special in it?

      That’s definitely a good idea! I just got some supplies to replace the cork in it so I can really try it out! If it doesn’t work well for me I may make a pattern out of a portion of my family tree to put in it!
