I found this article from the Dispatch that makes me wonder whether he’s being benched for being upset with the assistant coaches in the Charlotte loss? If so, Nancy is really showing that he’s walking the walk when it comes to focusing on being a team. It also shows that ownership backs him if he’s able to bench an expensive star for two straight games.
Yeah, I originally thought they were resting him for this match. But that was obviously wrong. It can’t just be for him yelling at the coaches. Maybe it escalated behind the scenes.
