    We could, with appropriate financial controls like carbon taxes and green subsidies. But that requires international cooperation, and we can’t even get it done in the US domestically.

      The more you understand capitalism, with it’s planned obsolescence, the requirements to always grow so consumers have to buy a phone every 3 years, the fact that it needs new markets, now resources to extract.,

      We live on a planet with finite resources

      Can’t have year on year, quarter on quarter growth forever. The system will destroy itself and take humanity with it. There is literally no way we can ‘green capitalism’ our way out of the problem. The problem is the process my friend
