First issue, the vape tasted like musty basement. Is that normal?
Second issue, I have to vape an absolute shit ton to get any effects. It limited how intense of an experience I could have because I had to constantly remember to keep hitting the vape instead of relaxing and exploring.
Like a piece of steel wool inside the pipe? Won’t that burn up and be bad to inhale?
You use thicker steel wool, not 000, so it is hard to ignite the wool unless you are sticking the flame into the bowl or really drawing hard. DMT’s vaporization temp is far lower than steel wool. A big mistake people make is putting flame directly to DMT, you want to draw heat into it and allow it to vaporize instead of burn(burning makes it taste worse.).

A hash pipe like that, the longer ones are better, with steel wool in it is the best way from my experience. You pack the steel wool really well in the bowl and melt the DMT into the wool by holding flame above it, flip it upside down and hold the lighter below the bowl(start far away and bring it up until you get vapor) while you do a gentle steady inhale just to pull the heat up and keep the melted DMT from being sucked into the pipe or dripping out. The steel wool’s purpose is to hold the melted DMT and transfer heat so it can vaporize efficiently. Once you have enough, finger comes off the carb and you hold your breath and set the pipe down, exhale and find out what the fuck the machine elves want to show you now.
