I can’t seem to find the function anywhere. I tried googling and found someone talking about the three dot menu. I clicked the three dot menu on posts people have made but it only has block and report as options.

Am I just missing it somewhere?

    You can use the menu to appoint a user as a mod from a post in the community.

      This works when using the website, if you use an app I suppose it depends.

      Oh ok, I found the issue was I was trying the three dots menu on posts on the community page. I just needed to click through the post and access the menu then.
