    Knitters are pretty chill - until you cross them, haha. Then people start faking their own deaths to escape their wrath.

    Not that I think we’ll see that here, this just made me laugh. I think the first big scandal I watched unfold in real-time was the Mystical Creations Yarn blowup on Ravelry in 2008(ish).

      I thought about that literally as I was typing it lol. And cross stitch is somehow even more dramatic on occasion! Crafters, who would’ve thought?

      But you know, relative to a politics community or whatever… 😅

        Relative to politics, definitely. Knitters will give you the benefit of the doubt for a very long time. But if the sock yarn subscription hasn’t arrived after 2 years watch out! Cross stitch drama surprises me for some reason, but it really shouldn’t.
