It has a different vibe from the recent outings - no more multiversal shenanigans, just good ol’ grounded superhero-ing. I’m excited for this.

    [off topic]

If they were looking to replace Steve Rogers, there are two superior candidates. Jessica Jones and Luke Cage are both more powerful than Falcon.

I’ve seen the Sam Wilson Captain America comics. On the other hand, Agatha Harkness, Baron Zemo, and Madam Web got changed around a lot.

All I’m saying is I’d rather see Kristen Ritter with the shield.

I have to say that I was not a fan of her performance as JJ. While there were some episodes that definitely showed her acting chops, she is not cut out to play a superhero IMO. Most of her actions scenes across the series were painful to watch.

Jessica had the will power to fight back from Killgrave.

Luke was sent to prison illegally and never became a villain.

Yes, and lots of heroes do heroic things (though the “he didn’t become a villain” thing is pretty… Out of place. Comes across super weird.).

That doesn’t mean they are all eligible for the mantle. It’s not pure strength, it’s not the ability to be a hero, it’s the type of hero they are that defines Captain America.
