I don’t know why people think cars are freedom. You have to fuel, maintain, and store that thing constantly. When I had a car I always had that shit in the back of my mind.
Now I just get on the train and I show up where I need to be.
But I guess conservatives struggle to imagine a different world. All the highways, auto repair shops, and gas stations just appeared effortlessly by magic, but building trains is impossible.
I mean if this gets conservatives into EVs, at least SOME good will come out of this ugly, dysfunctional heap of metal.
Next we need someone to convince them that cars in general are evil and it’s much better for their freedom to use public transport
