I remember hearing people reference how terrible it was before, but seeing this for the first time is just baffling.

I can only imagine him refusing to listen to others in the room trying to subtlety give him advice.

He pays others to kill things & to tell him where to go, he is just proud of how good he is playing the walking simulator.
