Those close to Donald Trump fear the former president “may have legit PTSD” from the assassination attempt at a Pennsylvania rally last month.

That’s according to a Vanity Fair report published Wednesday that claimed those in Trump’s inner circle have noticed that he’s become fixated on a seven-second clip that shows the moment he nearly lost his life.

“He’s been watching that seven-second clip of how close he was to getting shot right in the head—over and over and over again,” said a Republican close to the campaign, reported Vanity Fair.

You’re allowed to have complex feelings weighing positive and negative attributes of people, but all people are people. You can’t deny the basic decency of a single kind thought because you oppose someone politically. I hope he recovers from a traumatic experience, and I hope his political ambitions result in embarrassing failure. You can think both things.

Yeah, but some people are Hitler. Hitler is not a fictional character. Occasionally, you get Hitler.

Stop pretending “politically” means dry and polite. Politics can kill people. Sometimes, politics kill ten million people at once. You cannot expect me to feel bad for the people who are mad it wasn’t twenty.

Thinking less of Nazis for being Nazis is not a form of bigotry. It is not somehow as bad as what the Nazis did… let alone causal to what the Nazis did. For fuck’s sake.
